Introduction
Intent Accounting Solutions is a purpose-driven company that provides accounting and tax consulting services to organisations whose main aim is to support the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the sale of their products and services. Our clients typically include churches and their related welfare organisations, philanthropic organisations and entrepreneurs with a heart to serve the Lord. As a Christian organisation, it is our goal and duty to play a role in growing the Kingdom of God in an unconventional way. We may not stand at a pulpit and preach the word of God; but we can be instruments that facilitate that. We provide a professional service that helps build a solid accounting and tax foundation. This further allows us to partner with our clients in building financially sustainable organisations through advisory services tailored to their specific needs. Intent Accounting Solutions was established in December 2017 and is based in Johannesburg. We are a 100% black female owned and managed accounting and tax services business. We are a team of experienced professionals who have a track record of providing such services on a consulting basis since inception. We have experience in providing services to clients in a wide variety of industries such as the Financial Services industry, Retail Clothing industry, Information Technology industry, as well as the Training Services industry. Our experience also spans from guiding clients with the registration of their non-profit companies to assisting them with tax exemption applications with SARS.
Collectively the team has exposure in working in finance related roles for over 15 years. We have Xero and Sage Business Cloud Accounting accreditation as well as experience in using a variety of other cloud-based accounting packages and point of sale software that links to those packages. We pride ourselves in being innovative and always looking for simpler and better ways to service our clients with excellence.

Founder and Managing Director
Lebo Shongwe CA(SA) is a dedicated, hardworking, God-fearing woman of integrity who believes in living a life of purpose. She also believes that true success lies in the ability to positively impact those around you and change their lives for the better.
Lebo is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in managing finance teams and mentoring other aspiring finance professionals. She completed her articles at Deloitte in 2007. She worked in a division called Entrepreneurial Services (ES) where she was exposed to auditing many small to medium sized businesses gaining practical experience in the fundamental principles of starting up companies, growing businesses and ways of improving their financial records and reporting. She went on to work for Mineworkers Investment Company (MIC), a broad-based black owned investment holding company, as the Group Financial Manager. Her 9-year tenure at MIC resulted in a wealth of knowledge gained in accounting for investments in various sectors as well as representing MIC as a board, audit committee and social ethics and transformation member on some of the company’s investments.
